Provincetown Travel Diary: A Family Adventure

This past September, I finally stepped outside my usual circles of Maryland and made my way to Provincetown, Massachusetts — a place I’d dreamed of visiting for years. It wasn’t just a trip; it was a chance to reconnect with family, explore history, and soak in the unique creative energy of Cape Cod.

What I found was a town that feels like home in spirit: quirky, artistic, and endlessly alive. A place where eccentricity is celebrated, salt air clings to your skin, and every corner seems to hum with story.

I kept a day-by-day diary during my stay — raw, journal-style reflections with snapshots of meals, museums, beaches, and family moments. You’ll find them all linked below.

What’s Next

Provincetown was the first trip I’d taken in years, and it left me with a heart heavier than my suitcase — in the best way. I’ll be back, someday. Until then, the Dreamspace continues: essays, Pantry Psalms, and Sparks to come.

Maybe you’ll find a bit of yourself in these entries. Or maybe they’ll inspire you to go searching for your own “Lakes” — the place where you feel fully alive.

If you’ve been to Provincetown (or dream of it), share your favorite memory in the comments!
