When I started building the Dreamspace, I promised myself (and you) that this would never be a place for gatekeeping or secret sauce. Every lesson learned—whether through trial and error or just plain living—gets passed along, so maybe your road can be a little less bumpy than mine. If I learn something that helps me thrive, why wouldn’t I share it? Take what’s useful, leave the rest. That’s how we build something lasting—together.

Your Numbers Are Your Numbers

You know all those “best posting times” and “guaranteed growth hacks” you see online? They’re… fine, I guess. But they’re just averages. What matters is what actually works for your site, your people, and your energy.

Here’s what I learned by just watching my own analytics:

• For Dreamspace, the best post times are early in the day—8am, 10am, noon. (Sorry, late risers!)
• Posting more than once or twice a day actually hurts our engagement—people get overwhelmed, and so do I.
• Big, thoughtful, “load-bearing” posts work better than pumping out quick, shallow ones. Quality really does beat quantity, every time.

Real People > Algorithms

If you want real readers who stick around, write for humans, not for pageviews. My best traffic days aren’t the ones when I crank out the most posts. They’re the days when I share something honest, helpful, or even a little vulnerable. It’s not about gaming the system—it’s about connecting.

Learn from Your Own Patterns

If you’re feeling lost in the sea of advice, look at your own numbers. What days do you get the most views? Which posts get the most comments or shares? Use that as your compass. And if something doesn’t feel good—like posting three times a day just for the stats—give yourself permission to change it up. (That’s what I did.)

You Get to Define “Success”

Your blog is yours. There’s no prize for following someone else’s playbook. Want to post once a week? Cool. Twice a day? If that works for you, do it. But remember, slow and steady really does build something lasting. (And you’ll enjoy it more, promise.)
